The Widdershins

Not this guy.

He has yet to speak out against sexual discrimination.

He has yet to speak out in defense of women.

He has yet to stand up for the poor.

So who and what does he support?

You got me there since he has contorted, spun, twisted, and denied whatever he upheld yesterday.  On most positions he is a purporter of  “yes and no”.  

Wearing a smug face and a clumsy attitude this candidate for POTUS can’t seem to find it within himself to defend any group of possible voters out of fear of alienating even one.

This is leadership? A role that calls for more than just a smile and a nod for the cameras as he minces across the nation on behalf of himself.

I keep asking why anyone would vote for Mitt Romney. Give me one good reason beyond the Obama Derangement Syndrome and I will be glad to listen.

Is it his good looks? His attractive wife? His love of cars? His facility with words? His sense of humor? His sharp comebacks? His sartorial style?  His fondness for trees?

Because to be honest I am unable to comprehend why an intelligent voter could listen to this man and walk away assured that what he represents is “leadership”.

He refuses to take a stand on anything.  The agenda he will carry on behalf of the GOP in a general election is toxic.

There is no promise in there to work for the common good but a variety of policies that will further gut the middle class, harm seniors, deplete education, create havoc with the environment, and advance the “war on women”.

Mitt Romney finds it difficult to stand up for one cause. It is just not in him to do so. “Playing it safe” is not the role of governance.  But if you are looking for “wishy washy” this could be your guy!

There is no “there” there with Mitt Romney.  That is what is so startling to accept.

I’ve come to the belief that with Mitt Romney “what you see is what you get”.
